On a brighter note, however, there are 6 homes under contract and 22 under deposit, so we will have to wait and see how many properties close by the end of the year.
The South Windsor CT has always been a desireable real estate market, and buyers hoping to find their next house in South Windsor only have 77 homes to choose from. They range in price from $14,900 for a two-bedroom, one-bath 700 sq. ft. mobile home to $1.3 million for a six-bedroom, two-bath, 3054 sq. ft. farmhouse on 75 acres. The median price of homes on the market is $269,900.
Given the inventory, the absorption rate for South Windsor is 8.08 months. Of course, with such a wide range of prices, buyers need to realize that there are quite a bit fewer homes at their preferred price point.
